Safety at Paka River Camp
Safety and Security has been given top priority since our operations in 2002. We share your safety concerns.
Full safety assessment and management plans are conducted before every camp.
Selected locations and sites are thoroughly surveyed.
Quality imported kayak and camping equipment are used and regularly maintained.
Jet skis and Shuttlecrafts are also used to support our rescue boats during water activities.
Other Safety & Security measures:-
- Experienced and competent facilitators are selected to lead the camps.
- Trained local guides are vetted for wilderness knowledge and reliability.
- Dependable Transport Agents engaged and have been in the service of PRC since 2002.
- Evacuation vehicle will be on standby at activity location and a 24 hours standby at the camp.
- Food is catered by a licensed local caterer or prepared at Camp Kitchen.
- Boiled drinking water is provided and bottled water provide on request.
